Description of service
PhotoConvert is a free, browser-based image conversion tool that lets you convert between formats including WebP, AVIF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, and ICO. No account or signup is required, and all conversion happens locally in your browser — see our Privacy Policy for details on how your images are handled.
No warranty — service provided "as is"
PhotoConvert is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. Converted files — particularly ICO and BMP outputs, which follow strict legacy format rules — are provided as-is, and you are responsible for verifying that the output meets your intended use case before relying on it.
Before using a converted file in a production project, favicon, or print job, open it and confirm it looks correct. We do not guarantee fitness for any particular purpose.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use PhotoConvert to process illegal content, and not to attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the tool.
Intellectual property
You retain all rights to any images you process using PhotoConvert. Since your images are never uploaded to any server, PhotoConvert never stores, accesses, or claims any rights to your content.

Limitation of liability
PhotoConvert is not liable for any data loss, browser crashes, or inaccuracies in converted files that result from using this tool. Use the tool at your own risk and always keep a backup of your original files.
